In this phase, you and I will work to:

  • Explore past habits and behaviours around food

  • Discuss factors that impact your food choices

  • Identify daily opportunities for change & growth

  • Discover mindset barriers that have blocked past progress

  • Identify specific elements of past diets that didn't work for you & why

  • Learn the skills, knowledge, and tools you need to excel in phase 2

RESTORE METABOLISM & RESET MINDSETS

This phase focuses on optimizing your metabolism and restoring balance in the body by addressing the key things that have been holding you back from getting the results that you want.

We will make sure you're eating enough of the right kinds of foods to support your metabolism so that your body lets go of unwanted body fat easier.

We will explore strategies for resetting mindsets about nutrition, fitness, and yourself.

In this phase, you and I will work to:

  • Restore and optimize your metabolism

  • Improve internal health - stress, hormones, and digestion

  • Incorporate daily nutrition habits that are gradual and not overwhelming

  • Identify nutrition and lifestyle habits you can be consistent and feel successful with

  • Identify the best foods for you, your body, and your goals

  • Discuss an optimal exercise plan for your goals

  • Build confidence in learning how to eat the foods you love in moderation and in a way that aligns with your goals

  • Learn to dissociate food from feelings of shame and guilt

Because of your work in phase 1 and 2, your body will be primed and ready for this accelerated body composition- focused phase.

We will also establish mindset practices that reinforce the importance of balance, consistency, and sustainability.

In this phase, you and I will work to:

  • Learn how to incorporate social events, eating out, drinking alcohol, date nights, & family dinners while still making progress

The final phase is where you will solidify your results and feel confident implementing your habits, skills, and tools to sustain these results on your own. You will leave the GRIT program knowing how to be in control of your nutrition and fitness goals.

In this phase, you and I will work to:

  • Coach you through coming out of a fat loss phase, a non-negotiable part of the dieting process, to prevent gaining weight back

  • Learn the skills needed to navigate your next set of health and wellness goals

  • Teach you how to maintain your fat loss results or continue improving your body composition with a periodization strategy
